HM evades question on who will hold responsible for the irregularities in Constable recruitement test

Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam, also in charge of Home today evaded a question by opposition MLA Th Bishwajit on who will be held responsible to the mass irregularities and foul play during the process of the recruitment test male constable of Manipur police for 2013 batch.
BJP MLA Th Bishwajit did not pursue the question for the second time but another BJP MLA Kh.
Joykishan, not satisfied with the answered of the Home Minister tried to put supplementary question at which the speaker turn down his plea to question.
A hard argument occurred between MLA Kh Joykishan and the Speaker, Th Lokeshwor for quite a few seconds.
Later as the Speaker sticks to the rules and procedure of business, the irate MLA Kh Joykishan walked to the well.
The Assembly Securities were alerted to the action of the BJP MLA.
Later the MLA tore a paper and walk out of the house.
In a calling attention move by the opposition BJP MLA Bishwajit in today assembly session, Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam who is also in charge of Home department said that the cancellation of the recruitment is done as the government wanted to deliver justice to all the youths of the state who are aspirant in joining the police force and moreover to prove that there is no room for any foul play to the government.
He said the cancellation was done but to deliver justice to the 2013 appeared candidate the government has provided relaxation for them by allowing them to appear in the fresh recruitment test.
"Any candidate appeared in the recruitment can join the fresh recruitment test on the eligible criteria he had applied at the time", Gaikhangam said.
Gaikhangma further read out a clarification statement on how the recruitement test for 2013 batch was notified and conducted.
He said it was an independent body that is in charge of submitting quilified candidates who will be later appointed by the approval of the state government.
However, as there are many complaints from various sections of the people about irregularities in the selection process and a court intervention after a group of candidates filed pettition to the high court on the ground of the selection process violating the Supreme court directives as well as the state DP directives for selection of candidates, the Manipur High Court in an interim order halt the declaration of the result saying that the result cannot be declared without a leave fromt eh Court.
However as another group of candidates urhed the government to complete the DPC it was done as it does not required to declare the result, Gaikhangam said.
