MBBS classes begin in RIMS

Imphal, August 02 2012:
Classes of 2012 MBBS session in RIMS began from August 1 .
On the first day, 41 students attended.
The students were mainly from Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura and Sikkim.
The Ist year MBBS is strictly for one calendar year.
Profs N.Damayanti, HOD of Anatomy, M.Amuba HOD of Biochemistry and M.Anita HOD of Physiology welcome each and everyone in this prestigious institute of the country.
They were of view that each and every student who joined a central govt institute like RIMS got the admission after struggling 2/3 years except for a few in the first attempt and urged them to work harder as parents are away and extra coaching classes are not available for the professional course like MBBS.
The HODs also expressed confident that they will see the rest of the students from the host state, Manipur and all India quota, etc.
The routine of the classes have been prepared one week ahead with the collaboration of other HODs.
