Inspector wins hearts in Kangpokpi

Kangpokpi, April 26 2020:
Inspector Khogen, Officer-in-Charge of Kangpokpi Police Station did the round again by providing financial assistance and personal protection equipment to more than 30 needy labourers at Kangpokpi DHQs.
Earlier, the Officer-in-Charge had shown exemplary service by rendering help to the shoppers coming from far-flung areas to buy essential commodities during relaxation of identified shops at Kangpokpi DHQs.
The police officer had even skipped the death ceremonial activities of his younger brother and instead perform his duty.
This time, he provided essentials to the needy labourers, most migrant workers who load and unload rice and other essential commodities day and night in the town.
The police officer also distributed masks to the needy labourers, apart from providing financial assistance of Rs 200 each to all the needy labourers of the town.
Inspector Khogen said that the aid he provided is too small when compared with the service rendered by the labourers at this hour of hardships.
The Inspector then wish them good health and assured to help them in future as well.
Meanwhile, one of the labourers said that he never expected such affection and care from the police and thanked the new OC for understanding their hardships.
