Go to Village camps organised

As part of the State Government's noble mission, "Go to Villages" (Khungang Chatse), camps were held today at S Zezaw Village for Singhat & 23-Muallum covering about 8 villages (MT Geltam, S Zezaw, L Phaimol, S Belbing, N Khonom, S Geltui, S Munhoi & B Tuallian) under the auspices of Churachandpur district administration.
The ambitious healthcare scheme Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) also known as Ayushman Bharat-National Health Protection Mission (AB-NHPM) which was launched on September 23 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also introduced at the camp.
The PMJAY or AB-NHPM also touted as the World's largest health scheme is the first healthcare program in the country to have its own data privacy policy.
Dignitaries who attended the function included Letkhogin Haokip, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary (Agri/CADA), Shyam Lal Poonia, IAS DC Churachandpur, Jameson Hangshing, MCS, SDO/ Singngatand other DLOs.
Various entitlements like registration of job-cards, PMAY forms, Domicile-Residential/Tribe/Income Certificates, School materials (shoes), sports materials, vermicompost materials, agriculture materials etc were distributed to beneficiaries at the Camps by different departments such as District Handlooms & Textiles, Social Welfare, Education, Medical, Forest Department, ZEO, ADCC, Vety & AH etc.
The district Medical Dept also conducted separate screening for immunization and diabetes.
Vety & AH Department also conducted on the spot animal vaccinations.
Kakching: The GTV Mission camps were held at Laphupat Tera and Arong village.
MLA Hiyanglam AC Dr Radheshyam attended the camp at Laphupat Tera Community Hall which covered Laphupat Tera and Konuma under Sekmaijin Gram Panchayat.
DC Kakching Neilenthang Telien and Pradhan of the GP also attended the event.
Around 600 villagers attended the camps to avail various facilities provided by the various departments.
