Imphal, May 12 2016:
Strongly reacting against the alleged unwanted
attitude of JAC Shantipur during its sit-in- protest at Kanglatongbi on May 10, civil society
organizations of Sadar Hills has urged the JAC
Shantipur not to distort communal harmony
among various communities.
Seikhomang Khongsai, chairman con-
vener of CSOs Sadar Hills, who is also the
president of Kuki Inpi, Sadar Hills said that
JAC Shantipur has nothing to do with the
land and boundaries of Sadar Hills in its
demand to punish the culprits involved in the
shooting of Rakesh Saha.
"Voicing concern without the knowledge
of the lands and boundaries of Sadar Hills
has hurt the sentiment of thousands of peo-
ple of Sadar Hills", he said.
He also asked the JAC Shantipur to
clarify on the matter at the earliest so as to
maintain peaceful coexistence.
