Highlighting various woes and grievances, the All Manipur Government Aided Schools' Employees Co-ordinating Committee has submitted a charter of demand to the Chief Minister.
A release issued by the Committee informed that it has been demanding release of pay and allowances pending since January this year.
It also demanded exclusion of the Government aided schools from the Govt order banning recruitment.
Other demands raised by the aided school employees include approval of the additional post to aided schools as recommended by the State Level Committee 1998, implementation of the Manipur Government Aided Schools Teachers Contributory Provident Fund cum Insurance cum Pension Rules 1981 at the earliest and review of the outdated grant-in-aid rules for making necessary amendments.
