Imphal, February 13:
The Khuga Dam Local Contractors' Association has decided to forbid entry of the State Chief Minister, IFC Minister and officials of PHED, to the work site of Khuga Multipurpose project dam in Churachandpur district so long as the pending bills are not released.
During a meeting held yesterday at Churachandpur, the contractors' association also resolved to cease all works relating to the construction of Khuga Multipurpose project dam and demanded that the bills should be released to all the contractors according
to rules.
The association has also alleged that Rs 5 crores have been released by the IFC and the percentage has not been distributed to the contractors.
