Imphal, June 27 2013:
Urging the concerned authorities to conduct Manipur MBBS/BDS 2013 Entrance Exam without delay and save the career of aspiring candidates, Manipur MBBS/BDS 2013 Entrance Examination Parents/ Guardians Association stated that such exams are also being conducted in other States.
In its statement, the Association said that NEIGRIMHS Meghalaya State will now hold admission through entrance exam of the State rather than selecting from the merit list of NEET.
Unfortunately, for Manipur, the ignorant Health Minister has misinterpreted in the Assembly Session yesterday the order of Supreme Court on May 13 which stated that results for exams can be declared, as that the Court has banned to conduct exams, it alleged.
It also said, the medical entrance test being conducted all over India at present showed that there is no ban of the exam by the Supreme Court.
In fact, there is no such order in India and the ban in Manipur is imposed so that the Cabinet Ministers can recruit their near ones.
If the Health Minister is a human who knows to feel ashame for misleading the mass then he should have resigned earlier.
The Association asked the State Government if there is any Article in the Indian Constitution which says a candidate of NEET cannot sit in Manipur PMT exam.
A candidate who has submitted application form has every right to appear the exam.
The Government should not supress the right of the candidates, the statement demanded.
