Cleanliness drive by State police concludes

Imphal, October 02 2017: The three days cleanliness drive taken up by State police at various areas of Manipur concluded today .

State police observed the campaign in their respective districts including police personnel of different outpost and police station .

Imphal West district police, under the supervision of Senior SP Themthing Ngasangva carried out a cleanliness drive along the Imphal Moreh road .

A team of Singjamei Police lead by SDPO, Singjamei Devananda and Inspector N Ingocha conducted cleanliness drive at Singjamei Supermarket and Chingamakha Waiting shed today morning.

Imphal East district police , under the supervision of SP, K Kabib along with Tribal Market Vendors Association, Checkon jointly conducted social service in and around Tribal market.

A cleanliness drive cum community policing was also led by DSP Commando Khamnam Robinson and DSP Operation RK Saklemba, OC, Imphal East commando Inspector B Lunthang Vaiphei and Tribal Market vendor Association secretary Rabika .

Meanwhile, in Thoubal, the district police along with Thoubal Municipal Council, Bazzar Board Community leaders joint observed the National cleanliness day at Thoubal Bazar and its surrounding areas.

The cleanliness drive was attended by IPS K Radhashyam DIG Range II.

Chandel district police also observed the cleanliness day at the DHQs .

On the other hand, a special cleanliness drive was carried out under the supervision of SP, Chandel Kamei Angam Romanus at Chandel district hospital campus, Mini Secretariat, Chandel, Chandel police station and Women police station.

Kakching district police under the supervision of SP, Kakching W Singhajeet carried out social service along Kakching-Sugnu road at Kakching Phoushupat area .

Kakching police personnel cleaned their respective police station, outpost and the surrounding areas Kakching Indoor Stadium where the counting of the upcoming State Panchayat election will be held.

Primary Health Centre, Hiyanglam and its surrounding areas, Sugnu Bazar, Pallel Bazar and parking area were cleaned today .

SDPO, Moreh Lawrence, 2nd OC Akbar and leaders of various CSOs and clubs of Moreh also carried out a social service at PHC road and Moreh bus parking today .

On the other hand, CDO, Moreh DSP Krishnatombi and his team also cleaned the premises of Moreh police IB .

ADC, Moreh N Gojendro Singh along with its staff and security personnel held social service and road repairing at ADC complex.
