Churachandpur 1st Div league BYC, ZFC script easy wins

Bungmual Youth Club and Zeal FC had an easy day scripting thumping victories today in the ongoing Khaikhanlian Memorial District 1st Division league 2017 at Peace Ground, Tuibong .
In the first match, Bungmual Youth Club (BYC) beat Golkilungtuok FC (GKLT) 2-1 .
BYC were in command of the match right from the start.
It was Khamlianmang of BYC who handed the lead to his team in the 29th minute .
Songmuanlal struck another goal in the 51st minute to extend the lead.
BYC were playing at ease assuming that they had already tamed their opponents .
But, the margin was reduced when Thonzathang of BYC struck an own goal in the 63rd minute.
However, the team managed to collect all the full points as their defenders refused any chance to the rivals’ forwards in their citadel .
In another high scoring encounter, Zeal FC (ZFC) romped to a thumping 8-2 victory over Khallai FC (KLFC) .
Nelson Hmar did the star turn for Zeal FC as he hit a treble in his team’s 8-2 win .
The match initially headed for an exciting show as both sides scored a goal each during the first ten minutes of the first half.
However, Khallai FC defence crumbled in the 12th minute as ZFC enjoyed their scoring spree .
J Hmar opened the account of ZFC in the 6th minute.
The lead was however cancelled out when Paosianlal of KLFC struck one in the 11th minute .
Barely a minute later, ZFC’s Nelson Hmar opened the flood gate and handed his team yet another lead.
Nelson was at it again in the 26th minute before J Hmar struck his second in the 34th minute.
The two sides went to the break with the 4-1 lead of ZFC intact .
ZFC continued their attacking in the second half.
Joseph Lalringum found the net in the 56th minute to make it 5-1 before Nelson booted home another goal to complete his treble in the 67th minute .
Ginzamang hit one for GKLT in the 68th minute.
However, that was too insignificant to change the script of the match.
Lalthuoivel and Thomas Lalrobul of ZFC took turns to strike a goal each in the 70th and 73rd minute respectively to wrap the match in style.
