Online essay competition on 'International Yoga Day'

Imphal, June 18 2021: To commemorate the occasion of International Day of Yoga, to be observed on 21st June, 2021, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Thoubal would organise an Online Essay Writing Competition on the topic "Yoga for Mental & Physical health (to combat Covid-19)" .

Participation would be open to all individuals across the country between the ages of 15-29 years and every submission must be accompanied by a photo/image of the candidate doing any yoga pose, said a statement of NYK Thoubal.

All participants would be given a Certificate of Participation, and the prize money of the winners would be credited into their bank account as follows- 1st Prize (Rs 500); 2nd Prize (Rs 300); 3rd Prize (Rs 300) .

The last date of submission is June 21 (6:00 pm) .

Entries could be sent by email to "[email protected]", or in pdf/image format via whatsapp to "8787503767/7308174260" .

It may be noted that the essay should be preferably of 500 words or less.
