More than 1000 students attend first ever career counselling workshop at Senapati

With
an objective to help students
choose their right career and
help them understand the
importance of taking the right
decision, Senapati District
Students Association
(SDSA), an apex student body
of the district along with district
administration organized a one
day career counselling
workshop with the theme
"Unlock the Future".
The workshop was held at
Multipurpose indoor hall,
Senapati in which the dignitaries assisted the students in
identifying various career
options available and enlightened them about their
respective fields.

Noel Pathak (34 AR Out-Post Commander, Senapati),
Dr Johnny Varay M D
Senapati, Joel Rangnamei,
(EE PHED), Duna Duo,
SDC Senapati, S Kajichew,
Proprietor of North Eastern
Enterprises, Wungnaogam
Pou (Scholar), Tryphena
Reikhenamai (SDC Senapati),
PF Lophro (SDC Senapati),
ML Kaisungbou (SDPO
Senapati), Kario Isaac Maheo
(MMA Athlete) and S Hingba
Joyson (Medical Social
Worker, JNIMS) attended the
workshop as dignitaries.
They stressed on identifying one's weakness, strength
and ability and strike for the
goal with determination, self-belief and consistency.
Coming from 18 schools
and colleges in and around
the district headquarters,
around 1,420 students participated the workshop.
The students were provided with study materials.
Many students gave feedback that the programme was
very helpful and has inspired
them to move forward in
choosing their career.
The
SDSA expressed belief that,
with this initiative, the students in the district have
gained a great deal of knowledge in making the right
choice.
