SSUM announces to work together with West Bengal based USDF

Manipur base students' body Socialist Students' Union of Manipur have announced to go hand in hand with West Bengal based student body � United Students' Democratic Front (USDF) .
In a press statement issued by Organisation Secretary of SSUM, Rashid Ahmed , the student body said that leaders of both the students' bodies had agreed to join hands with likeminded students' body to struggle for the rights and welfare of the deprive student community of the nation.
The statement said that SSUM as a follower of Pioneer leader Hijam Irabot will uphold and strengthen the ideology of the pioneer leader.
Saying that the number of students from poor and deprive family are countless and to these family hunger and education have been depriving their right to education.
Stating the present problems being faced by students from poor family are the cause and effect of the imperialist rule , the SSUM said in order to assure the rights of poor students the student body will join hands with likeminded students' body from across the world to struggle unitedly.
"Joining hands with the West Bengal based United Students' Democratic Front (USDF) is the first step", the student body said.
On the other hand, two representatives of SSUM Comrade Naorem Tanoranjan and Comrade Longjam Bushan had attended the 2 �day Peoples' Literary festival organized by Baster Solidarity Network, Kolkata Chapter .
In the festival, delegates from Palestine, revolutionary writers, poets and author of various books and other eminent personalities attended panelist and experts.
