Director General of NCC review activities of NCC in the state

Imphal, May 25 2018:
Lieutenant General PP Malhotra, Director General NCC, who arrived yesterday in the state on a two day visit left Imphal today.
The DG review the NCC activities in the state during his stay.
He is accompanied by Major General Raju Chauhan Additional Director General, North Eastern Region.
During the visit the DG NCC met the Chief Minister, Education Minister and Chairman MPSC to discuss the modalities as to how NCC activities can be improved, He was assured of maximum assistance from the state.

More than 8000 NCC Cadets in Manipur will get benefitted by this.
The DG NCC also visited NCC Group HQ where he was given the Guard of Honour by the NCC Cadets.
He also interacted with the officers and staff of NCC Group Imphal.
Brig Vivek Sharma Commander, briefed the DG NCC about the ongoing training activities of NCC in Manipur .
Lieutenant General PP Malhotra, also witnessed firing skills by NCC cadets at Assam rifles firing range at Mantripukhri and were impressed by the enthusiasm &dedicating of the Manipur Cadets towardstheir training.
The DG NCC emphasized on the need to achieve good standards of training, so that the cadets can achieve laurels at National level.
