'Lots of agitation are going on; we have raised the matter in Parliament.
We are all aware of the reasons why all these are happening; how the three Bills were passed - bypassing the HAC; You have every right to agitate, you have every right to express your views; my only plea to you all is that those who have sacrificed their lives should be honoured, they should be respected, and we should perform their last rites with the sanctity that it deserves.
I have come to appeal, the rest of the things can go on,'he said.
He also said that everyone is aware of the background -why there is so much of conflict between the hills and valley.
He however maintained that nothing is insolvable.
Concentrating development in particular place or rather development imbalance has to be done away to address these .
conflicts, he asserted and claimed that he had been suggesting successive Home Ministers and Prime Ministers of the country to do away with the imbalance particularly in North Eastern region.
He further express the need to develop the hills of Manipur and the talents of its inhabitants nurtured so that the tribal people can be contented.
He even cited a past instance when he had suggested Ukhrul to be the second capital of the State to the.Uuion Home Secretary.
Sangina also claimed that he was a proponent of smaller States, and had accordingly supported the demand for Kukiland.
There is a need for an independent body to examine the demand for creation of new States in the country; there is need for a second State Re-organisation, he said adding that before realising the creation of a new State, the ADCs of Manipur should be brought under 6th schedule of the Indian Constitution.
Sangma further claimed that in his bid to unite the tribals of the country he had adopted the NPP which was initially a Kuki party and transformed it into a National party having its own MPs and MLAs in many tribal belts of the country.
