State logs 2 per cent TPR

With seven people confirmed positive out of 350 samples tested for Covid-19 during the last 24 hours, the State logged a daily positivity rate of 2 per cent.
The seven people who have been tested positive are residents of Imphal East (2), Imphal West (3), Bish-nupur (1) and Kakching (1) .
Following recovery, three Covid-19 positive people were discharged from home isolation (2) and Covid Care Facility (1) during the last 24 hours, according to a bulletin issued by the Additional Director (Health) .
The cumulative number of Covid-19 positive cases in the State is now 1,37,126 (general population 1,32,112 and Central security personnel 5,014) .
This figure includes 45 active cases and all of them belong to general population, and 1,34,961 recovered cases (general population 1,29,954 and Central security personnel 5,007) .
The recovery rate as on Monday is 98.42 per cent while the death toll remains unchanged at 2120 as there was no report of Covid related death during the last 24 hours.
A total of 286 D-type oxygen cylinders and 92 B-type oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities of the State yesterday.
Currently, only two (out of 300) Covid beds of JNIMS and another four (out of 190) of RIMS are occupied.
The cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in the State has reached 27,92,007 (first dose 15,42,043, second dose 11,83,571 and precautionary dose 66,393) .
Till April 3, 50.56 per cent of the State's total eligible population has received both the first and second dose of Covid vaccine while 61.55 per cent has been given the first dose.
