Imphal, July 18 2021: Deputy director (Health) Dr Yumkhaibam Premchandra has been honoured with India Icon Award 2021 instituted by Blindwink and conferred to exceptional individuals of the country in various fields.

Dr Premchandra, who is also SNO NCD-Telemedicine and Churachandpur District Hospital visiting diabetologist, received the award in the category of 'India's Health Icon for Exemplary Contribution in Endocrine, Diabetes and Tele-Medicine' .

India Icon Award 2021 is presented in 42 categories to honour noted personalities of various states for their contribution in their respective fields.

Success stories of the awardees will be published in Brandz magazine and Success magazine.
