AIMS extends best wishes to State's Olympic athletes

The Apunba Ireipakki Maheiroi Sinpanglup (AIMS) has extended State players representing India at the Tokyo Games best wishes to perform well and earn podium finish in the biggest sporting event due to begin from July 23 .
AIMS, in a statement, expressed that the event is the grandest sporting event and it is the dream of every athlete to represent their country at least once in this event and wished the 5 State players to keep the Nation's flag flying at the event.
Expressing pride that MC Mary Kom (boxing), Shanglakpam Nilakanta Sharma (hockey), Pukhrambam Sushila (hockey), Likmabam Sushila (judo) and Saikhom Mirabai (weightlifting) will be participating in the Tokyo Olympics and making the State pride, AIMS also noted that producing such valuable world class players is something other bigger States in India consider a big feat.
Manipur is considered a powerhouse of sports courtesy abundance of such world class athletes, said AIMS and prayed that the players may give their best shots with full vigor and spirit and bring home laurels.
