PYC, Konung Mamang beat Do Or Die, Mayang Imphal by 8 wickets in the 4th Bikram Memorial State Level Tennis Ball Cricket Tournament organised by Young Progressive Club, Yumnam Huidrom Makha Leikai being held today at YPC ground.
Winning the toss, PYC opted to field first where Do Or Die could scored just 72 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 15 overs.
PYC easily managed to get the target by 73 runs with 2 wickets loss in 10.2 overs.
By contributing 26 off 28 balls, Manoj of PYC was adjudged the man of the match.
In the second match, BIkram 11, Yumnam Huidrom Makha Leikai downed LCIC, Mairenkhul by 28 runs.
Winning the toss, Bikram opted to bat first striking a total of 106 runs for 10 wickets loss in 14.3 over, while LCIC scored just 78 for the loss of 10 wickets in 12.3 over.
Jamphu was adjudged the man of the match as he contibuted 25 runs in 18 balls for Bikram 11, said a statement issued by the organising committe today.
Tomorrow, LUC, Yumnam Huidrom Awang Leikai will play Summer Set, Haobam Marak while in the second match SWA, Mayang Imphal will play SEFA, Sekmaijing.
