NIT flagged in

Imphal, February 25 2014 :
A National Integration Tour (NIT) was organised by 22 Assam Rifles of 28 Sector AR under aegis of HQ IGAR(S) under OP SAMARITAN from Kakching to Mumbai and Pune was flagged in at Kakching on 24 Feb 2014 by Brigadier Gajendra Joshi, SM, Commander 28 Sect AR.
20 students including 12 girls and 08 boys alongwith 05 teachers of Morning Dew School, Martin Grammar School, Sora Junior High School, Azad National Hindi College and Grace Cottage Cultural and Educational Development Foundation of Thoubal district participated in this tour.
The tour was aim to promote the spirit of Nationalism and educate the young minds about prosperity and cultural diversity.
During the course of the tour the students were taken to Gate Way of India, Hotel Taj, Marine Drive, Chowparty, Haji Ali & Bara Worli sea line and Mumbai Museum.
The children were fortunate to meet with film stars like Ajay Devgan, Prabhu Deva and Rajesh Khattar.
In Pune, the students were taken to National Defence Academy (NDA), Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) and to a Water Park which the children thoroughly enjoyed.
