BOLERO FC overcome FFC 4-2 in 1st MAICHON Trophy

Imphal, April 05 2019: BOLERO FC cruised to a 4-2 win against FFC Angtha today in a Group B fixture of the 1st MAICHON Trophy, 7-A-side State Level Open Football Tournament 2019 being organised by Manipur Imagi Changdamnapham Oiba Nachasing, MAICHON at Charangpat Mamang Leikai pologround.

BOLERO FC dominated the early proceedings and took a 2-1 lead in the first half and made a stunning comeback after FFC drew level in the earlier part of the second half to complete the 4-2 finish today.

Jiteshor gave BOLERO FC the lead early in the 8th minute while Sanatomba doubled the advantage in the 25th minute with a well crafted shot.

Binan of FFC Angtha pulled back a goal the very next minute and reduce the deficit marking a positive return.

FFC Angtha then pulled level in the 27th minute thanks to Malemnganba but they lose ground in the latter part as BOLERO FC made an all out attack to find the lead which they ultimately got in 37th minute when Anand converted a fine shot.

Tash of BOLERO FC then fired in the decisive goal in the 47th minute as FFC Angtha failed to mount a comeback.
