DYASO Imphal West, Thoubal to conduct district team trials

District Youth Affairs and Sports offices in Imphal West and Thoubal are set to conduct trials for preparation of district (school) teams (U-14, U-17 boys and girls) for the forthcoming State Level School Games.
DYASO Imphal West will be conducting trials for 20 disciplines from September 7 to 27 in a phased manner.
As per a press release issued by DYASO Imphal West, the trial selections for Athletics, Boxing, Aquatics (Swimming and Diving), Table Tennis, Softball, Karate, Sepak Takraw and Netball will be held from September 7 to 8, it said.
The trial selections for Thang-Ta, Football (boys), Wrestling and Baseball will be held from September 14 to 16 and the trials for Football (girls), Wushu, Cycling and Kabaddi will be held from September 21 to 23, it said.
The trials for Taekwondo, Judo, Shooting, Fencing, Badminton and Squash in the meantime will be held from September 25 to 27, it added.
The last date for form submission for the said trials are respectively September 5, 12, 19, 22 .

In the meantime, the District Youth Affairs and Sports Office, Thoubal said that the office will conduct trials for 26 disciplines from September 7 to October 6 .
The trials for Basketball, Rugby, Kho-Kho and Gymnastic will be held from September 6 to 7 while the trials for Athletics, Archery, Boxing, Aquatics (Swimming and Diving) will be held from September 8 to 10, said DYASO Thoubal in a release.
Trials for Table Tennis, Softball, Karate, Sepak Takraw and Netball are scheduled to be held from September 12 to 14 while trials for Thang-Ta, Football (boys), Weightlifting and Baseball will be held from September 18 to 20, it said.
The trials for Football (girls), Wushu, Cycling and Kabaddi will be held from September 23 to 26 while the trials for Taekwondo, Judo, Shooting, Fencing, Badminton and Squash will be held from September 27 to October 1, it added.
