AKSDO, KSDO, RCA secure victories in 3rd MNCA Super Plate Tournament

Imphal, November 22 2023:
AKSDO-Khangabok, KSDO-Kyamgei and RCA-Lilong sealed victories in today's matches of the ongoing 3rd MNCA Super Plate Tournament 2023-24 .
At Khangabok Cherapur Public Ground, AKSDO sealed a 44 run victory over NAPSA-Kha Imphal.
AKSDO opted to bat first but were bowled out for 152 runs in 33.2 overs as NAPSA's Kipagen rattled their batting line up and finished with the best bowling figures of 5/26 in 6.2 overs.

Kh Bishworjit scored a slow 76-ball 52 for AKSDO and Winchelly added 35 off 52 balls before their innings were cut short.
AKSDO bowlers- Roshan 4/16, Sanayai 2/15 and Kaiku 2/18 however produced a better side and bowled out NAPSA for 108 runs in 33.5 overs despite Bonny 22 and Dhanakuber 32 making significant contributions.
Roshan was eventually adjudged man of the match.
At Model Hr Sec and Oriental College ground, KSDO chased down a target of 145 runs set by YWC-Langthabal on the back of 9 wickets in allotted 40 overs.
Ng Bishwash 24, S Jiko 19, Ng Bingson 14 and Y Vivek 14 were the main run getters for YWC-L after being put in to bat first.
Shah Jahan (3/11) and Lakimbur (2/30) of KSDO shared five crucial wickets in this innings.
In the chase, skipper Md Abdul Rafique 31, Raish Raza 26*, Reehaj 25, Md Arif Khan 21 and Shah Jawan 20 played their parts to steer KSDO to winning 149 for 6 in 31.1 overs.
M Subash 2/12 was the pick of the YWC-L bowlers.
Md Shah Jahan was named man of the match.
Elsewhere at Luwangpokpa Cricket ground, RCA racked up 176 runs for 7 in allotted 40 overs and skittled out TCMDC for 140 runs in 35.5 overs for the 36-run victory.
Naesh 32, Alfash 29 and Zamir 28 made significant contributions to RCA's tally after let to bat first while Ashokumar led the scoring for TCMDC with 31 runs and Ashrad Ali followed with 22 .
Rain of TMCDC claimed 3 wickets for 34 runs before Zamir 3/24, Naesh 2/31, Syed Hussain 2/29 of RCA throttled the TCMDC chase.
Zamir of RCA who produced an all-round performance was declared man of the match.
