State trio to compete in powerlifting nationals

Imphal, May 20 2024: All Manipur Powerlifting Association (AMPLA) has selected three players and two officials to rep resent the state in the National 46th Men & Women Junior & 25th Sub Junior Boys & Girls Equipped Powerlifting Championship at Patiala, Punjab from June 16 to 21 .

In a release, AMPLA informed that the lifters are Thounaojam Lanchenba (sub junior boys 66 kg), Hanjabam Deepraj Sharma (sub junior boys 74 kg) and Nabeeha Momin Khulakpam (sub junior girls 52 kg).

Naorem Sushila Devi will be the team coach and Md Maqbul Ali manager, it added.
