Imphal, October 08 2011: Office of the District Youth Affairs and Sports Officer, churachandpur will conduct district level inter school trial cum selection in volleyball (under-14 boys/girls) and athletics in under-14/17 categories from october 17 to 19 at Peace Ground, Tuibuong.

Submission of entries will be entertained till October 15, said a release.

The Churachandpur DYASO also invites interested individuals or members of youth clubs/centres in the age group of 13 to 16 years for participation in the State Level Adventure Awareness Camp to be held at Imphal from october 17 to 20.Further details may be had from Youth Officer Kim Shoute during office hours, added a release.

Imphal West trial: The Imphal West district Youth Affairs and sports Office will conduct district level inter school games meet 2011 in thang-ta (U-19 boys/girls) and taekwondo (U-17) disciplines on trial-cum-selection basis at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex for which submission of entries will be entertained within October 12 .

Tug-of-war trial: To constitute State team for the Senior Men's National Tug-of-War Championship to be held at Madgaon, Goa a trial cum selection will be conducted by Manipur Tug-of-War Association on October 9 from 7 am at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.

Kabaddi trial: Units affiliated to Manipur State Kabaddi Association have been informed to depute seven players each to participate in the trial cum selection test for sub-junior boys and girls on October 10 at 7 am at SAI RC Takyel Khongban.

The trial is being conducted in connection with the 23rd Sub Junior National Kabaddi Championships to be held at Hyderabad, said an Association release.
