Women folks bid farewell to Shah

Imphal, June 02 2023: Members of around 25 women's organisations in Keisham-thong and Kwakeithel bid farewell to union home minister Amit Shah as he left Imphal on Thursday.

Large number of worn-en lined up along Tiddim Road from around 10.30 am to bid farewell to the visiting union minister.

They also held placards with demands for peace, NRC update and protec-tion of territorial integrity of Manipur among others.

The participants told media persons that they formed human chain to expressed their griev-ances and register their demand for restoring peace in the state.

They drew attention of the home minister to uphold the territorial integrity of the state.
