IMPHAL, Feb 27:
All Club, Organisation, Association, and
Meira Paibi Lup (ACAOM-Lup), Kangleipak has expressed
strong resentment over the suspension of five personnel of
Manipur Police under immense pressure from Naga Students'
Federation (NSF) and termed it as akin to surrendering with both
arms raised.
It may be recalled that on February 14 morning at
Mantripukhri, NSF officials on their way to Ukhrul for Lui-
Ngai-Ni festival were accosted by Manipur Police commandos.
It also urged the NSF not to be communal and said that
they should devote their time in upliftment and overall devel-
opment of the students and also sought their help in peaceful
co-existence of minority North-East people, said a press re-
lease issued by the secretary of the Lup.
