Chandel, June 20 2015 :
Following the failure of the State Government to meet their demands, Mission Blind School Students' Union, Heikakpokpi today said if the demands are not fulfilled by June 22, the union will launch an indefinite hunger strike from the following day near Heikakpokpi village.
In a statement, the union said that the State Government gave an assurance to address the problems put forth by the union last month.
However, no positive step has been initiated so far.
Therefore, the union has resolved to launch the indefinite hunger strike.
