Keising appointed as 'revenue secretary' NSCN (K), Southern zone
NSCN (K) has appointed Keising as the Revenue Secretary, Southern Zone (Manipur State) with immediate effect.
In a statement, NSCN (K) said henceforth every "revenue/finance/taxation" related matters and issues of the South Zone shall be handled by the appointed official.
The appointment order has been issued by the NSCN (K) 'presidential office' through its MIP/PRO.
Blood donors felicitated
The 14th foundation day cum felicitation of 18 June blood donors of Voluntary help unit committee was held on Saturday at Manipur Press Club.
RIMS HOD, department of Immunohaematology & Blood transfusion professor A Barindra Sharma, Voluntary Help Unit Committee Advisor L Meenabanta and Voluntary Help Unit Committee M Subhaschandra attended as chief guest, guest of honour and president respectively.
NYK and local club organise awareness
Ideal Club Waiton and NYK Imphal East Block organised a one day awareness program at Waiton on Saturday.
Resource persons delivered speech on the topics like health care, special education, skill development in the awareness program.
Dr Ksh Kala, RIMS Lamphel, L Yaima, ex principal Biramangol College, Kh Jenila design consultant Skill Development and Handicraft were the resource person of the awareness program.
NMC cleaning campaign
Nambol Municipal Council has conducted a cleaning campaign at Nambol market along with Concillors, staff, WDC members and staff on June 20 from 5 am till 11 am.
Executive Officer, NMC during the campaign also appealed to all the vendors and shopkeepers of Nambol market to support the Scavenging tax as it is not the sole responsibility of NMC to keep the Nambol market neat and clean.
LSTK thanks donors
Laiyingthou Sanamahi Thougal Kanglup (LSTK) has expressed its heartfelt gratitude to all donors for the ongoing construction of Laiyingthou Sanamahi Lainingkol (University of Sanamahi Culture) at Chingoi Maru Laimaiching (Nongmaiching).
Head of LSTK in a press statement has appealed to all to extend their hands for completion of the said structure in time.

UNC grateful for supporting strike
