Shrewd and fearless, the new Mao tribe apex body president faces an uphill task of dealing with the ongoing tension between Mao Council and Southern Angami People's Organisation (SAPO) over Dzkou and Kozri boundary issues.
Here, the Angami Tribe is one of the most important constituent units of Tenyimi Union.

The election of M.Dili as the president is expected to bring prospect of dealing with the present issue which has escalated and tension growing each day after SAPO and SAYO supporters began vandalizing Mao community vehicles, allegedly serving vacation notice to Mao people, destroying Manipur bound trucks and regular harassment on Mao citizens along the NH-2 near Jakhama.
