After successfully bringing four Independent ADC members to its fold, NPF has staked claim for council formation in Senapati ADC today.
According to sources, NPF members met Deputy Commissioner Jacintha Lazarus at her office chamber and requested for her approval for formation of an NPF-led council.
Party leaders ML Markson and John Hingba were accompanied by senior most ADC member LD Rainii of Purul DCC during the meeting.
Many issues including the absence of vacant rooms at old ADC office complex located on NH-2 were discus- sed with the DC, the source said.

The members are yet to take a final decision on who will be the five executive members.
