Imphal, June 24 2015 : Consultation on climate and agriculture
The North East Dialogue Forum in collaboration with Samaritan Resource centre, Applied Bio-Tech Farmer Club and Village Women Coordinating Committee is organising a one day consultation on Climate Change and its impact on Agriculture at Manipur Press Club, Majorkhul, Imphal on 25th June at 1:00 pm.

One ADC member joins INC
One newly elected ADC independent candidate from Sadar Hills joined Indian National Congress Party.

In an order issued by Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) General Secretary (Admn) T Manga Vaiphei it is said that Haokholun Chongloi, Independent candidate of 8 Watcotphai Autonomous District Council, Sadar Hills joined the Indian National Congress.

It was approved by the MPCC.

International day against drug abuse
Department of Social Welfare government, Manipur is observing the State level International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, 2015 on June 26 at the auditorium of the Youth Affairs and Sports, Khuman Lampak, Imphal.

The function is scheduled to start from 3 pm.

IPAK against gambling
Indigenous People's Association of Kangleipak Manipur has condemned the gambling culture across the state in various fairs.

It is also informed that applicants for the ongoing hair cutting training program organised by IPAK may get the details of the training centres from its office at Keishampat near Manipur Rural Bank between 11 am and 3:30 pm.

Ram Muivah appointed as additional secretary
Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Manipur Ram Muivah IAS has been empanelled for appointment to the post of additional secretary, government of India.

Ram Muivah has worked in various capacity both in central government as well as in state government for 30 years including ministry of finance and ministry of urban development, GOI.
