Imphal, August 29 2023:
Manipur Muslim Welfare Organisation (MMWO) president Boboi Korimayum has appealed to all concerned not to spread false news or rumours so as to prevent escalation of communal tension and conflict in the state.
In a press meet held at MMWO office in Hatta Minuthong on Tuesday, Boboi said that the present situation in Manipur is unpredictable.
The on-going conflict will decide the future of the state.
Amid this, some people have been spreading false news/ rumours to disrupt the trust between communities.
As such, he appealed to all concerned to verify any news before sharing them.
