Imphal, August 29 2023:
In connection with reports published in state dailies on Tuesday regarding the leave application of six Kuki-Zomi MLAs from Tuesday's session of Manipur Legislative Assembly; the 10 Kuki MLAs issued a joint clarification stating that they had to apply for leave as per procedural requirement.
The MLAs conveyed that they stand together firmly on the demand for a separate administration and will continue to work with the Kuki-Zomi people to achieve their political goal till the end.
They then appealed to the Kuki-Zomi people to maintain calm and continue to support the 10 MLAs in the fight for achieving their common political goal.
