Noklak/Tuensang, November 13 2018: Dr.Shurhozelie Liezietsu, NPF President today asserted that the Naga People's Front signifies the identity of the Naga people and is deeply rooted with the Naga people and the Naga Nationalism and to carry forward the aspiration of the Naga people for the early resolution of the vexed Naga political problem.

Speaking to a huge gathering during the inauguration of the newly created NPF Noklak district Division office, Dr.Shurhozelie termed the NPF as not only the political party but the guardian body of the Naga people and stated that the party will remain with the same aims and objectives till the Naga political problem is solved.

He reminded that the cock party (NPF) was compel to give birth during the heaviest bloodshed was going on in the Naga soil so as to protect the Naga people, therefore, NPF can be considered as the guardian of the Naga people.

"NPF came into being in the early 60's with its motto, 'Fide Non Armis" (Fight not with arms) when there was disturbance and killings in the state for the peaceful solution to the Naga political problem", he added.

He also observed that many political came into being in the state claiming to be the Naga regional party but all perished as no other parties have the roots like the NPF.

Many formed the party only to contest the election without any aims and objectives or commitment to work for the true cause of the Naga people.

"Today the NDPP came again and running the Government along with the BJP in the state", however, Dr.Shurhozelie did not ruled out that one day the NDPP will also disappeared again just like the other regional political parties.

He also stressed the need that every party worker should to remain firmed with their principle and stand and be committed to work for the welfare of the Naga people.

Lauding the newly created NPF Noklak Divisional office, the NPF President urged upon the new office bearers of the division to stand with new hope and new vision stating that a well begin is half done.

Earlier, Dr.Shurhozelie also administered oath to all the newly inducted office bearers of the Noklak divisional office.

The NPF Secretary General and the lone Rajya Sabha MP, KG Kenye who also addressed the gathering said that the NPF is the only party, which have sole intention to work and look after the Naga people well being.

He also echoed that when the Naga society was under threat from the outside force, the regional NPF party was given birth in the Naga soil inorder ti protect and preserve the Naga people and its identity.

He also said that NPF is not just a political party but it is party that will uphold the Naga people and its identity and work only for the welfare of the Naga people.

KG Kenye also reiterated that NPF top most priority is to resolve for the Naga political issue and since its inception, the NPF is working all out for its resolution amicably.

Exhorting the newly inducted office bearers of the Noklak division, the MP said that the Noklak division should grow and become a strong pillar for the entire eastern Nagaland region.

Earlier, the two NPF working Presidents, Apong Pongener and Huskha Yepthomi and various other speakers also delivered speeches in the occasion.

The Meeting was chaired by S Chollen Chang, President Noklak Division, while welcome address was delivered by A Ngon, Working President of Noklak Division and vote of thanks was pronounced by P Longon, ex-Minister.

It may be mentioned that the Noklak division consist of two Assembly constituencies, Noklak A/C and Thonoknyu A/C .

Later in the evening at Tuensang, an induction progamme for the newly office bearers for the NPF Tuensang Divisionwas was also organized, where the NPF President, Dr.Shurhozelie administered oath to the respective office bearers for the Tuensang division.
