Essential food items distributed; Keisham Sunil Singh condoled

Thoubal, May 16 2021: Essential food items were distributed today to the households in the containment zones of Charangpat Mathak Leikai, Icham Khunou and Charangpat Maning Leikai under Wangkhem Assembly Constituency by Kharibam Jivan, intending candidate of Manipur Assembly election for Wangkhem AC.

Speaking on the occasion, Kharibam Jivan stated that the food.

items were distributed to support the families suffering in the containment zones due to the COVID-19 pandemic and assured to provide similar assistance in the future.

Besides, Kharibam Jivan in association with MAICHON also organised a COVID-19 vaccination programme at Charangpat Mamang Leikai.

It may be mentioned that Kharibam Jivan also distributed food items at Huidrom Leikai, Wangkhem and Bishnunaha.

Similarly, in continuation of the assistance provided to the people, M Okendro, president Heirok Block Congress COVID-19 Fighting Unit, donated Rs 50,000 to Heirok Part 2 Mayai Leikai Nupi Committee.

Heirok Block' Congress COVID-19 Fighting Unit also distributed essential food items to the households in the containment zones of Thokchom Leikai and Vengi village under Heirok Assembly Constituency.

Meanwhile, ex Minister M Okendro condoled the untimely demise of former executive member, Heirok Block Congress Committee (HBCC), Late Keisham Sunil Singh s/o K Kunjo Singh and observed two minute silence at HBCC office while conforming to the SOPs mandated by the Government.
