Security meet, friendly volleyball organised

20 Assam Rifles organised a village security meeting at the Company Operation Base (COB), Kwatha on Monday, bringing together the village authorities-in the Area of Responsibility (AOR) of the Kwatha post.
The security meet was organised under the leadership of deputy commandant Raj Kishor of 20 Assam Rifles 'D' Company.
The meeting aimed at addressing critical issues pertaining to village security had the participation of leaders representing Kwatha, Kwatha Khunou, S Cananphai, L Chalwa, Khudengthabi, Choktong and N Satang villages.
Key discussions centred on security concerns in the villages and surrounding areas, especially along the Indo-Myanmar border.
Notably, 20 Assam Rifles, under the guidance of deputy commandant Raj Kishor, also took a proactive step in supporting the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan (anti-drug movement) by organising a friendly volleyball match with the residents of Kwatha village.
The primary objective of this sporting event was to promote awareness against drug abuse and provide guidelines for local youth regarding the importance of sports and physical fitness.
Additionally, the initiative aimed to foster positive relationships between the Assam Rifles personnel and the local community.
