Women Action for Development se-cretary Sobita Mangshatabam, during her visit at the residence of late Laishram Sumila alias Echan today has appealed for immediate arrest of all those involved in the murder of Sumila.
The president also expressed strong suspicion on the possibility of organ transplantation from the minor's body.
Mention may be made, Laishram Sumila, 10, d/o L Amuthoi Singh, 44 and L (O) Bina of Nungu Chandonpokpi was found murdered on January 31 this year at Phaijol, Bishnupur district.
According to Amuthoi, his daughter, who was deaf and dumb, went missing since the evening of January 22 before she was found brutally murdered ten days later under a culvert at Phaijol.
Bina expressed strong suspicion that her daughter was raped before being murdered.
She further expressed her disappointment on the authority's inability to book the culprits till date.
What is most suspicious about the case according to Amuthoi, is that the body that was recovered by him along with the police was reported missing by some people who visited the culvert to see the girl's dead body.
In the evening, however, when the same team went to inspect the spot, the body was found lying in the same place where it was found earlier that day.
On being questioned about the development of the case, Amuthoi alleged, the police gave a very indifferent reply.
The post mortem report of the murder has been delivered but yet there is not much development on the case till date.
Amuthoi has, therefore, earnestly appealed to all concerned authorities to speed up their investigation procedure and deliver justice to his differently abled late daughter.
He also demanded immediate booking of the culprits.
