After the search, the ponds will be filled with fresh water to beautify the BOAT complex, said the source.
As part of the search operation, the SPG team broke open all the lighting system fitted on the stairs inside the BOAT.
The lighting system was seen laid bare till today afternoon.
Meanwhile, the state Art and Culture department has begun to make all out efforts to decorate the BOAT.
Barricades have been put inside the open air theatre complex as a security measure for the prime minister's presence at the Sangai Festival closing ceremony.
All unruly cable wires have been re-fitted on instruction by the SPG.
However, most of the lighting system was not changed as it would take at least a few days for repairing.
Additional Closed Circuit TV Cameras have been fixed in and around the Sangai Festival venue, while visitors at the festival were asked to remove their caps and face-masks, added the source.
