SFS reaches out to relief camp

Students for Seva (SFS), Government Polytechnic Unit distributed study materials and medicines to residents of the Lamboi Khongnangkhong relief camp on Monday.
SFS in-charge Dr K Mukta, Khelo India in-charge Dr Santosh, and Government Polytechnic SFS members participated in the distribution programme.
In a statement, SFS Government Polytechnic Unit informed that the initiative was aimed at supporting educational and health needs of the camp residents, and ensuring they receive necessary resources to continue education and maintain their health during these challenging times.
The distribution included a range of study materials for students and essential medicines for the camp population.
Dr K Mukta commended the initiative, stating that the act of service by the students exemplifies the spirit of community and solidarity.
It is through such efforts that one can uplift those in need and provide a semblance of normalcy during the most trying times.
Dr Santosh highlighted the broader objectives of the collaboration with Khelo India, noting that the unit's objective extends beyond sports and physical health and encompasses overall well being of all.
