FESOK warns unrecognised schools

Stating that it has been taking up steps against operation of unrecognised schools since last year, Federal Students' Organisation, Kangleipak (FESOK) has cautioned that all the consequences should be borne by the authorities concerned of unrecognised schools if they continue to function.
In a release, FESOK publicity .secretary Jehochand Irengbam stated that only schools recognised by the government should operate.
If school authority runs institute without the recognition granted by authority and mislead the parents and guardians, then those people managing the school should bear all the consequences, he warned.
Further stating that schools should put up their recognition number and the other particulars at their gate and admission counter clearly, Jehochand urged the people to extend support to FESOK's initiative for bringing change in education sector and ensure betterment of the society.
He also appealed to parents and local clubs to look into the activities of unrecognised schools before they mislead students and ruin careers of the future pillars of the society.
