Thoubal, April 01 2024: A meeting of general observer and expenditure observer for inner and outer Manipur parliamentary constituencies along with candidates and political parties in connection with the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, was held at the office chamber of Thoubal DC, who is Returning Officer of Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency, on Monday.

The general, police and expenditure observers who attended the meeting appealed to the public for a violence-free and peaceful conduct of the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

The observers also advised authority concerned to follow the election model code of conduct and to control security and expenditure during the election.

Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency general observer Ujjawal Kumar, police observer Vaidhav Krishna, expenditure observers Dr Bhartendu Kumar and Gaurav K Singh and Inner Manipur Parliamentary Constituency expenditure observer Dr Patel Kriti Kumar took part in the meeting.

Independent candidate for Outer Manipur Parliamentary Constituency S Kho John, Thoubal DC Ahanthem Subhash, Thoubal SP Rakesh Balwan, AROs, ADMs and Thoubal SDO also attended the meeting.
