CHC Saikul awarded 'Best CHC'

Kangpokpi, September 28 2020: Community Health Centre (CHC) Saikul in Kangpokpi has added another feather in its hat by achieving the 'Best CHC' award in implementation of Ayush Bharat-Prime Minister Jan Arogya Yojana in the State.

CHC Saikul had earlier won the Kayakalp Best PHC Award twice in 2018 and 2019 and became the highest achiever amongst the health centres in Kangpokpi.

It had also achieved the top position among all PHC/CHCs in the entire hill districts last year for its service in OPD and IPD.

Meanwhile, KSO Sadar Hills and its Saikul unit also appreciated the MOs and other health workers of CHC Saikul for bringing not only laurel to the district but also tremendous changes in the health care sector of Saikul area.

The award distribution was held today at the Conference Hall of DC Kangpokpi organised by the district administration as directed on behalf of the State Health Agency, Manipur to handover the award and felicitated CHC Saikul.

DC Kangpokpi, Somorjit Salam handed over the Certificate of Excellence along with a cheque of Rs 5,000 to MO CHC Saikul, Dr John Lupheng in the presence of CMO Kangpokpi, N Nilakanta Singh, AC to DC Kaigoulal Kipgen and other medical officials.
