Career guidance progs empower youths in Chandel

In a bid to empower the youth of Chandel district with valuable insights into various career paths and educational opportunities, Tampi Youth Club (TYC) arid Chakpikarong Youth Club (CYC), organised comprehensive career guidance programmes on Saturday.
TYC spearheaded a one-day career guidance program aimed at providing direction to village youth, particularly those who recently completed their Class X and Class XII examinations.
Held at the Tampi community hall, the event witnessed active participation by -52 enthusiastic youths, comprising 30 girls and 22 boys.
Resource persons, Ch Minhlung, lecturer (English) at Maha Union Govt Higher Secondary School, Chandel, and N1 Bhim, Assistant Commandant, CRPF, shared valuable insights with the attendees.
Minhlung emphasised the importance of strategic planning in pursuing one's career goals and urged the youth to focus on their studies while simultaneously envisioning their future paths.
Bhim shed light oh career opportunities in the defence sector, stressing the significance of discipline in achieving success, and provided guidance on examinations like NDA and CDS.
Simultaneously, CYC organised a career guidance cum Anal Zoo (literature) workshop at Chakpikarong community hall, aiming to guide village youth in both their career pursuits and understanding of Anal literature.
Resource persons Rng Wilson, lecturer at Living Hope Theological College, and Ruwndar Lastny, lecturer at Maha Union Govt Higher Secondary School, Chandel, shared their expertise with the participants.
Wilson emphasised the significance of religion as a guiding principle in life, encouraging youth to prioritise spirituality.
Lastny underscored the importance of sincerity and dedication in achieving success in various career paths.
Dr Bs Khelhring, author of Anal grammar and a respected scholar among the Anal community, enlightened participants on Anal literature and grammar, highlighting its importance in preserving the cultural heritage of Anal community.
Both events witnessed substantial participation from youth, especially recent Class X and XII examinees, reflecting the keen interest of younger generation in exploring diverse career opportunities and cultural heritage.
