Imphal, September 05 2015 :
Haobijam Rison (18) who was critically injured during the ILP stir needs people's help for his medical treatment now.
Rison was supposed to go to Tamil Nadu's Ganga Hospital for further treatment on September 4, but the trip was cancelled due to shortage of money, his father Haobijam Mani told journalists at Manipur Press Club on Saturday.
Rubber bullets and tear gas canisters hit his hands and legs during the protest near the main gate of 2nd IRB post at Khuman Lampak on July 20 last.

Mani said now his son cannot hold even pen and write.
The student's right hand had to be operated after the incident.
Besides his right hand, there is apprehension that his whole body may get paralysed soon if immediate medical attention is not given, he said.
Doctors at RIMS have advised for taking him to an outside hospital for better treatment, Mani said, adding Rison was supposed to go to Tamil Nadu for the purpose after consulting with the Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS).
"More money is needed for the treatment.
I appeal to the people to generously donate money for my son's medical expenses," the father said.
