At the same time, HYA Ghqs has donated Rs 20,000 for treatment of injured victims in Imphal today.
General secretary of KSO Ghqs Seiboi Haokip today expressed gratitude to all generous donors, saying such show of solidarity would strengthen the bond of unity among the tribals.
Meanwhile, Kuki Inpi Assam (KIA) has strongly opposed the passing of three Bills by the Manipur Assembly on Aug 31 .
KIA also condemned the high-handedness of the Manipur police against the tribal protesters which led to the death of eight tribal youth including a minor.
It demanded a CBI probe into the killings.
Urging the Manipur CM to clear all apprehensions regarding the Bills by withdrawing them, the KIA said the Bills were in contravention of the provisions of United Nations Declaration on Rights of the Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) .
