Humanitarian aid extended

Imphal, July 05 2023:
Many continue to extend relief items to the people who have been displaced by the ongoing conflict in the State.
Khwairamband Ima Keithel Joint Co-ordinating Committee For Peace, Imphal, today visited three shelter camps opened at Manipur College; Shyamasakhi School, Yaiskul and Wangkhei Girls High School and interacted with the inmates staying there.
The Committee also distributed relief items including sanitary pads of women and huggies for children at the shelter camps, said a release.

Moreover, Takhok Mapal Women's Association (TMWA), Takhok Mapal, Uchekon, also provided food items and monetary aid to the Peace & Protection Committee Chakpa Phayeng.
In a release, TMWA called for the unity of all the CSOs and appealed to the State Government to pressure the Government of India to abrogate the SoO agreement with Kuki militants at the earliest to bring an end to the violence in Manipur.
