Imphal, May 20 2024: A memorial bust of Martyr Khundrakpam Opendra Singh of 205 CoBRA was unveiled at his native village Haraorou Awang Leikai under PS Sagolmang in Imphal East district today.

The bust was dedicated by 69th Battalion CRPF, under the aegis of IGP Manipur & Nagaland Sector CRPF in the memory of Saheed Khundrakpam Opendra Singh who was martyred on June 18, 2016 while fighting with Naxals at Gaya, Ps- Bankey Bazar in Bihar, said a press release by the Commandant 69 Bn CRPF.

The bust was unveiled in the presence of his family members and representatives of village authority.

Bajrang Lal, Commandant-69 Bn CRPF graced the occasion which was also attended by officers/jawans of 69 Bn CRPF.

The event concluded with an inspiring speech by Bajrang Lal Commandant-69 Bn and apprised the gathering that the purpose of organizing the programme was held in the honour of the martyr for his supreme sacrifice for the Nation, added the release.
