The Co-Ordinating Committee of All the Investors of Paari Mutual Benefit Nidhi Ltd has demanded the repayment of investors' money from Sheikh Abdul Hakim, Chairman of Halal Finance Group of Company by July 10 .
Addressing a press conference today at Manipur Press Club, Md Subhanuddin Shah, president of the Committee, informed that a general body meeting of all the investors of Paari Mutual Benefit Nidhi Ltd and Halal Finance, was conducted yesterday at Lilong Chaobok Meiren Khul.
He continued that the meeting unanimously resolved to urge the chairman to repay the investments by July 10, failing which the investors will take necessary action against the chairman.
He also clarified that the Co-Ordinating Committee has no connection whatsoever with the press conference conducted on June 13 in regard to Paari Mutual Benefit Nidhi Ltd and Halal Finance.
He lamented that Sheikh Abdul Hakim has failed to honour the previous agreement to repay the investment amounts causing a lot of difficulties for the investors.
"In this regard, any individual/organisations should refrain from conducting press conferences or stage demonstrations/agitation without prior information to the investors and the Committee", he added.
Further, Md Subhanuddin Shah appealed to the State Government to consider the hardships faced by the investors and look into the matter at the earliest.
