Imphal, September 07 2015:
JD (U) State president M Tombi has said that his party will file a criminal case against expelled RJD leader and Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) president Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav for directing his supporters to halt trains and look for Manipuri passengers at different parts of Bihar.
Speaking to reporters, Tombi said that his party would write to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and JD (U) National president Sarat Yadav through party North East in-charge Arun Kumar Srivastava regarding the matter.
Pappu Yadav's directive to his supporters was a wrong move, Tombi said.
He said that no Bihari was intentionally attacked or harassed by the people of Manipur during pro-ILPS agitation except some minor and negligible stray incidents.
Stating that it was really shocking to incite such hatred among Bihari and Manipuri people, Tombi urged different political parties not to forge ties with Pappu Yadav, who according to Tombi has divisive mindset, in the coming Bihar Assembly election.
It may be mentioned that Pappu Yadav's supporters halted trains at Ara, Madhubani, Gaya, Jehanabad, Vaishali, Chapra, Siwan, Ma-dhepura, Saharsa, Purnea and Darbhanga districts yesterday.
JD (U) State general secretary Lien Gangte urged the Government to seriously look into the matter of scarcity of essential commodities and fuel oil prevailing in the State.
Although, most of the petrol pumps have run out of stock, fuel oil is still abundantly available in black market, he said.
